Troy Price

A native of Durant, Iowa, Troy Price has spent his career working to improve the lives of Iowans. He is a graduate of the University of Iowa with a degree in Political Science. In 2001, at the age of 20, he joined the staff of Governor Tom Vilsack and Lt. Governor Sally Pederson, helping in their successful re-election effort. After holding positions in the Departments of Public Health and Econoimc Development, Price rejoined the Vilsack/Pederson Administration in 2006 as a communications assistant. In 2007, he started his career in the Office of Governor Chet Culver and Lt. Governor Patty Judge as a Senior Communications Specialist. In 2008, Price was the interim communciations director, where he helped lead the state's communications efforts in response to the worst natural disaster in Iowa's history.
